Why Support Conservation?


We live in a world with fewer and fewer connections to natural landscapes and wild lives. At the same time research shows us how important contact with the natural world is to our mental and physical health.

Legacy is working to rebuild and strengthen those connections by engaging people and communities in land conservation and stewardship.

Donations from supporters like you help us do that. Together our shared interest in nature and the land can make a difference.

You can choose to make a one-time donation or become a monthly donor. You can also donate securities or mutual funds.

You can also donate to Legacy through our office. We accept cheque, e-transfer, Visa, Mastercard, debit and cash. In this case your tax receipt will come from Legacy.

Legacy is a registered nonprofit charity. When you donate to us you’ll receive an official donation receipt that qualifies for charitable credits on your income tax return.

You can make a one-time gift or sign up to donate on a regular basis by becoming a Monthly Donor. Monthly donations create consistent revenue streams that help us deliver important conservation and stewardship projects.
