Jason Bradley
Executive Director
Jason Bradley brings a unique blend of practical land stewardship, strategic leadership, and innovation to his role as Executive Director of the Legacy Land Trust Society.
A fifth-generation Albertan with deep roots in agriculture and conservation, Jason has spent his career advancing nature-based systems through regenerative agriculture, applied research, and ecosystem development.
He has worked as a consultant helping farmers and ranchers improve soil health, profitability, and food nutrient density, and has led commercialization efforts in ag tech, particularly in soil carbon measurement.
His leadership at Olds College saw the early development of the Smart Farm and Smart Ag Ecosystem, where he fostered innovation in sustainable agriculture. Earlier, he spent two decades managing a 350-head cow-calf ranch, demonstrating a commitment to stewardship and community resilience.
Jason holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from Trinity Western University, with a research focus on collaboration, team development, and transformational servant leadership. His personal strengths—connecting people and ideas, systems thinking, and co-creation—align perfectly with Legacy’s mission of conserving Alberta’s landscapes.
Based in Olds with his wife of 36 years, Jason is also a proud father and grandfather who enjoys mountain biking in the Rockies and playing Oldtimers hockey across Alberta.
