Since 2013 Legacy Land Trust has worked with private landowners to conserve thousands of acres of boreal forest, wetlands, native grassland, and working farms and ranches.

Ethan Collister is a Calgary singer/songwriter. An accomplished guitarist, Ethan has performed across Canada and produced six albums of original material. His songs draw from a lifetime of travel and adventure, from working as a forest fire lookout in Northern Alberta to hiking the Himalayas in India. 

He enjoys spending time at Owl Ridge, his family’s land southwest of Water Valley. Owl Ridge is Legacy Land Trust’s only conservation easement property in the Water Valley area.

Join us for a program that will share the history of Legacy Land Trust Society, highlight achievements over the last 10 years and celebrate Conservation Easement (CE) donors.


3:00 – 4:00

Enjoy refreshments. Visit with Conservation Easement Donors, Legacy Board members and Executive Director, Rebecca Nielsen. Chat with Ron Reist, our Mountain Bluebird Trail Monitor, and Shannon Weseen, our Tribute Trail Monitor, about local bluebirds.
