The Story of Rural Life and Agriculture in Mountain View County

Paint the Barn Red is the story of rural life and agriculture in Mountain View County from the time of the first settlers in this community to the present.

The tale is told through paintings of 49 iconic barns, representative of different eras and painted by 37 local artists.

The paintings are printed in full size in a 9” X 12” horizontal format along with their stories, as told by the current and past barn owners and their families.

These beautiful hardcover books are destined to be passed on to family members as heirlooms and memories of a time when these majestic barns could be found everywhere.
